About
I'm Weiliang, currently in Shanghai.
For the past year I've been working in customer support. The job taught me one thing: when a customer is anxious, the first thing to give them isn't an explanation — it's something certain. Where things stand, what I'm doing about it, and when it will be fixed.
What I'm doing
That same year, I started using AI in earnest. Not to chat with — to get work done.
I built my own knowledge base with Claude Code and Obsidian. I drop in whatever I read, and the AI does the rest: reads it through, writes the summary, pulls out the concepts, cross-links them, appends to the log. It also runs a regular "health check" — looking for conclusions that contradict each other, orphaned notes nothing links to, and gaps that ought to be filled. I wrote those rules myself; essentially it's an SOP written for an AI to follow.
I also built Claude-Anki: it turns my notes into flashcards with real human pronunciation, automatically. Three decks and 220 cards so far, and I go through them every day.
Both come down to the same thing: I can take an idea, turn it into something that actually runs, and keep it running on its own.
Where I'm headed
I want to work in AI-related technical roles. Networking, databases and Linux are what I study; I've spent a year talking to customers, and putting complicated things into plain words is what I'm good at. The hands-on experience I'm still missing, I'm willing to learn from scratch.
Both projects are over in projects. If you'd like to talk, just send an email.
